The Repeat Tool is a window that allows users to repeat common actions with a simple double click. In addition, the Repeat Tool allows actions to be grouped into folders and saved as scripts. A newsletter article gives more details.

Checking for the Repeat Tool
The Repeat Tool is shipped with TPF/GI versions 2.4.1 and later, but it may not be set up to run in your copy of TPF/GI.

To see if the Repeat Tool is already set up to run, start TPF/GI, then determine whether you have a Tools menu on the TPF/GI menu bar. If you do, click the Tools menu to cause it to drop down and determine whether a menu item labeled "Repeat" is present. If you see the "Repeat" menu item, the Repeat Tool is installed in your copy of TPF/GI; if you do not see the "Repeat" menu item, or if you do not have a Tools menu on the menu bar, you need to set up the Repeat Tool before you can use it.

Setting Up the Repeat Tool
To set up the repeat tool, download the repeatsetup.exe program below and run it. After you do, the Repeat Tool should be set up to run with your copy of TPF/GI.
