CMSTPF's extensive diagnostic checking greatly improves the quality of the TPF application running on the online system. When application programs go out of bounds or behave suspiciously, CMSTPF immediately informs the programmer of the error.

Errant code can lurk unfound by ordinary TPF testing, just waiting to cause disastrous, real-time problems later. But CMSTPF does not allow invalid or dangerous practices and detects violations that ordinary "real-system" testing will miss.
